Briceño Mining & Associates Cía. Ltda., Is a company specialized in the mining field, formed by a group of professionals, with the objective of seeking integral mining solutions, in the geological - mining industry, applying international standards and current regulations.
Briceño Mining & Asociados Cía. Ltda., Is made up of Three Directors, a group of geologists, as well as a team of mining consultants, environmental engineers and a team with expertise in social management.
Osman S. Poma
Osman Poma has over 15th years’ experience in mining industry, specializing in grass root, advanced exploration and evaluation of gold, copper, zinc, lead, platinum and lithium projects in Ecuador as well as overseas in Chile, Argentina, Perú and Namibia.
Mr. Poma earned his masters of science degree (MSc) from Andalucía University - Spain, specializing in mineral resources, and his geological engineer degree in Polytechnic School of Quito. He attended meetings and courses relate to mining exploration in Canadá, España, Chile and Perú.
In 2012, working as Cornerstone´s geologist discovered the Alpala porphyry – Cascabel Project, which has delivered world class intersections of continuous copper and gold mineralization.
Mr. Poma has been a professor of mineral exploration, ore deposits and hydrothermal alteration subjects at Polytechnic School of Quito and Catholic University of Loja. Also he has been speaker at Mining Auditor courses as part of CIMA-UTPL programs.
Osman is a member of the Society of Economic Geology and industry advisor of SEG-EPN Student Chapter.
He currently serves as Exploration Manager of Cornerstone Ecuador S.A.
Dixon Briceño
Mining Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the
Management of Mining Projects, with complementary studies in:
Diploma in Mineral Economics University of Chile;
Diploma in Mining Administration Central University of Chile;
Master in Environmental Management Systems ESPE-Ecuador;
Qualified Mining Auditor in the ARCOM,
He is currently studying the MBA in Mining Gerens - Perú.
He has held the following public and private positions:
- Director of the Sangola Mining Project, Cía. SOMILOR S. A.
- Deputy Minister of Mines, Ministry of Non-Renewable Natural Resources.
- Deputy Director of Operations of the Mirador Project, Ecuacorriente S. A.
- Mine Manager Project Mirador, Ecuacorriente S. A.
- Geological-Mining Advisor.
Bryan Briceño
Bryan Jhon Briceño Martínez, professor of the Faculty of Energy, Industries, non-renewable natural resources of the National University of Loja, with complementary studies in:
Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Salesiana Polytechnic University.
Master's degree in Mechanical Design, manufacturing mention, SEK International University.
Speaker, Design and Construction of an automatic platform through artificial vision, for the use of people with motor disabilities.
Professional field immersed in:
- Patent Designer, Patent Desing, Drafting Specialists.
- Automotive maintenance technician, Motricentro, Kia motors.
- Teacher School of professional drivers of Loja. Escoprol.
He is currently a professor of the Engineering degree in Electromechanics and automotive mechanics, National University of Loja.
